...around the Nordic skiing Eldorado of Oberstdorf. Follow in the footsteps of the world champions and enjoy the snow-covered Allgäu countryside from the cross-country ski trail.
The main part of the Oberstdorf circuit is located in the south-west of Oberstdorf. Glide for kilometres across the snow-covered fields. The ‘Otterrohr’ and ‘An der Halde’ trails can be used on their own or as a feeder to the circuit. The two rather short circuits are also perfect for beginners and families.
The cross-country skiing fun continues: depending on the snow conditions, the Oberstdorf circuit is linked to the village trails of Rubi, Reichenbach and Schöllang. This creates a cross-country trail network of over 20 kilometres.
Follow in the footsteps of the world champions. The 10-kilometre World Cup cross-country ski trail can also be covered with artificial snow and is therefore particularly snow-sure. Night owls also get their money's worth here: on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the trail is floodlit until around 7 pm.
The cross-country ski trail in the remote Rohrmoos side valley is considered to be particularly snow-sure alongside the machine-snowed World Championship cross-country ski trail. The almost 9-kilometre circuit leads through a dreamlike, untouched winter landscape. Rohrmoos itself can be reached via a toll road from Tiefenbach.
Get to know the picturesque village of Tiefenbach from the cross-country ski trail.
The medium-difficulty circuit is around 5 kilometres long and is particularly popular with classic cross-country skiers. Contrary to what the name suggests, Tiefenbach is slightly higher than the surrounding villages and is therefore particularly sunny.
Welcome to the southernmost cross-country ski trail in Germany. Deep in the Stillachtal valley, you can enjoy a 7-kilometre circuit with fabulous views of the mountains.
