Booking conditions
§ 1. Direct booking conditions with Der Jägersberg
1. Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge. Please note the exceptions:
1.1 Exception: For exclusive bookings of the entire house (4 flats), the deadline for a free cancellation is 90 days.
1.2 Exception: For bookings that include Christmas (24.-27.12.) or New Year's Eve (31.12. - 02.01.), free cancellation is excluded.
2. Cancellation conditions in case of officially ordered closure of hotels and holiday flats: Provided that your booking has been officially affected by COVID-19, you can cancel your booking free of charge, regardless of cancellation conditions. Deposits already paid will be refunded or credited in the event of a rebooking. Please provide us with your bank details in case of a refund.
3. The total amount of the booking is due 28 days before arrival.
4. For bookings from abroad, German law and German place of jurisdiction (Sonthofen local court) apply.
5. Due to the architecture of the flats with split-level construction and open stairs, the flats are only conditionally suitable for children under 8 years of age. Please contact us for individual advice before booking.
6. Check-in from 4 p.m. | check-out until 10 a.m.
§ 2. General booking conditions for the hotel and restaurant industry
1. The guest accommodation contract is concluded as soon as the room has been reserved (booking) and confirmed (confirmation). Both oral and written confirmation are binding.
2. The conclusion of the guest accommodation contract obliges the contracting parties to fulfil the contract, irrespective of the duration of the contract.
3. The landlord is obliged to provide the room as soon as the room has been reserved (booking) and confirmed (confirmation). The landlord is obliged to compensate the guest in the event of non-provision of the room.
4. The guest will be obliged to pay the agreed or customary price in the event of non-utilisation of the contractual services, less the expenses saved by the landlord.
According to experience, the savings amount to 10 % for overnight stays (Fewo). The guest is at liberty to prove that the host has not incurred any compensation or that the compensation is significantly lower than the above-mentioned cancellation fee.
5. The landlord will be obliged, in good faith, to let (rent) unused rooms to other guests if possible in order to avoid losses.
6. Until the room has been let (rented) to another party, the guest shall pay the amount calculated in accordance with clause 4 for the duration of the contract.
7. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the place of business.

§ 3. Booking conditions via external providers or platforms
Please note that for bookings not made directly via Der Jägersberg, but via other platforms such as booking.com, the booking conditions arranged there apply.
